Volunteer Opportunities

Greene County Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer-driven organization.

We welcome people from all walks of life to join us as we build decent, affordable houses in partnership with God and families in need.

Every task performed by a volunteer saves us money and allows more funds for home construction and homeowner support.

Areas where volunteers are needed include:

Office Administration

Governance and Committee Support

We welcome your desire to provide leadership for Greene County Habitat for Humanity.  If you are interested in service on our board or on one of our many and varied operating committees please email your contact details and resume to info@gchabitat.com.

Requirements

Volunteers must be 16 years old or older. Volunteers under the age of 18 must bring a waiver signed by a legal guardian with them to the construction site on their scheduled build day.

Minor volunteers may not operate power tools or work at heights above six feet.

There is no upper age limit for volunteers.

Becoming a Habitat volunteer comes with great rewards and responsibilities.

Volunteers like you are representatives of Habitat for Humanity and its ministry.

When you accept a volunteer role with Habitat for Humanity, you are committing to act in a way that promotes Habitat’s mission, respects the local community, and ensures the safety of all participants.
